GET LISTED

Accessibility

Everyone selling a home should be able to use Get Listed, whether you use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, magnification or a small phone. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across this website and the seller app.

How we check

  • Before every release, automated checks for the WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules run on our public pages and on the signed-in pages that changed. A serious or critical problem stops the release until it's fixed.
  • Our code is checked for common accessibility mistakes, such as images without text alternatives and form fields without labels, every time it changes.
  • New screens are tried at phone width, 390 pixels, and must work without scrolling sideways.
  • Automated checks find many problems but not all of them, which is why your reports matter.

What we know falls short

  • HomeScan's live guidance, such as “step back” or “hold still”, is shown on screen and not spoken. You can add photos you already have with “Add from library” instead of using the live camera, or have someone take them for you.
  • Documents that come from other people, such as a title company's or a lender's PDFs, may not be accessible. Ask your agent for the information in another format.
  • We haven't yet had the site tested by people who use assistive technology every day. We plan to, and will update this page with what we learn.

Need help with a step now?

If you're signed in, tap Help on any screen and choose “Message support” for the app, or “Ask your agent” for anything about your sale. A person answers, and can help you finish the step another way.

Tell us about a barrier

If something on Get Listed doesn't work for you, tell us here. You don't need an account. A person reads every report, and we treat each one as a bug to fix.

What you were trying to do, and what got in the way.

An email address or phone number. Used only to answer this report.
