Plain answers to the questions sellers ask first.
- What does it cost?
- Scanning your home is free. When you're ready to list, you pay $1,500 once, per listing. Optional add-ons are priced on the Pricing page.
- Is there a percentage fee on the listing side?
- No. Your listing fee is flat. Brokerage compensation is negotiable and not set by law; other selling costs, such as buyer-side compensation, title and escrow charges and taxes, may apply.
- Who reviews my listing?
- A licensed brokerage firm reviews every listing before it's submitted to the MLS. In each state, a licensed agent signs the listing paperwork for the brokerage firm.
- Who sees the photos from my HomeScan?
- Photos of the inside of your home stay private unless you choose to use them in your listing or share them.
- Do I have to do the HomeReady projects?
- No. Every HomeReady recommendation is optional. You can list your home as-is.
- Can I use my own title company?
- Yes. Choose "I already have a title company" in your Closing Center and add their details.
- How do I sign documents?
- Listing documents are filled in from the facts you've confirmed, and you sign them online. Anything we aren't sure of, we ask you to confirm first.
